Crab Linguine
serves 2 generous portions


  • 1 brown crab dressed; white meat separated from brown meat
  • 1⁄2 Lemon
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • 1⁄4 tsp chilli flakes
  • 400g tagliatelle or spaghetti
  • 4 good stems of parsley
  • Two sprigs of coriander
Crab Linguine on a plate, ready to serve.

Preparation Method

  1. Cook the tagliatelle following the product instructions.
  2. Infuse chilli flakes in olive oil over medium heat.
  3. Add the brown crabmeat, lemon juice and garlic into the pan and warm through over a gentle heat.
  4. Add the white crab meat and continue to heat through on a gentle heat.
  5. Drain the pasta, put into a mixing bowl and dress with olive oil, parsley and coriander.
  6. Empty contents of pan into mixing bowl and mix well with tongs.
  7. Portion on plate and grate parmesan cheese over.

Consider adding something you particularly like, that will go well with crab and pasta.

How about a white wine, perhaps a dry white wine to complement the dish? Or something fruity, such as fruit juice, perhaps diluted with some tonic water?
